It was a lovely monologue, and I LOVE how brisk it was. Not a word wasted.
What I didn't like
Nothing that I can think of. It’s a simple concept of a performer onstage telling a lovely story. It works well as a two-hander with “A Christmas Carol”. I think it’s worth watching both.
My overall impression
A lovely monologue recalling a Christmas past. The words are poetic and the performance is truly beautiful to watch. Matt Chait does a fantastic job bringing Dylan Thomas’s words to life.
