Everything. Every second. Every beat. And the space at theatre 68 was perfect.

My overall impression
You have more chance of winning the lottery than seeing two solo shows in Los Angeles on the same day and being totally blown away by both of them. That happened to me today.
My One Woman Show was the second. My friend Deborah bought me a ticket and took me along, having already seen the show multiple times. And now I know exactly why.
It’s clever, it’s smart, the pacing is absolutely perfect, and the performance is nuanced and masterful. It strikes that incredibly difficult balance between tenderness and vulnerability and complete laugh-out-loud comedy!
Both shows I saw today were so good that I could genuinely have taken a five-minute break, gone back in, and watched them all over again.
Anyone who says Los Angeles isn’t a theatre town needs to see this show.
Stefan Marks, thank you for your service to the arts. I am officially joining the fan club.
