What I liked
I liked that you can tell this production was a collaborative process between the entire cast and crew. Each actor is so dedicated to their character, and the cast has great chemistry. You can tell a lot of deep character work went into bringing these stories to life. Something I love about superheroes is there’s something for everyone, and anyone who sees this show will come away from it with a favorite hero/scene. I felt like I was watching an episode of one of my favorite superhero TV shows coming to life on stage. There’s a great deal of care put into this show and you can tell how passionate everyone involved is about the production.
What I didn't like
I’m really just looking forward to seeing if there are more amazing tales to come out of Continental City!
My overall impression
Amazing Tales of Continental City is, well, amazing! You can tell that the show was thoughtfully written and cast, and that everyone involved is a fan of the genre. The writer has done their research and has created an original superhero universe that hits all of the marks/tropes that we love about superhero stories. It’s refreshing to see an original superhero universe on stage, and the performances, costumes, and fight choreography will leave you wanting more amazing tales!
