Michael Neely has emerged as a prominent figure among millennials. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Thomas “Georgia Tom” Dorsey in the stage play “It Don’t Just Shake Off,” which was authored and directed by McKinley Johnson. Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Michael nurtured his passion for performing from a young age, participating in various plays organized by his church and school. In 2014, he made a conscious decision to pursue his acting aspirations by enrolling in the renowned Second City school in Chicago. During his tenure at Second City, Michael dedicated himself to honing his skills in improvisational comedy and standup routines. In 2018, Michael successfully auditioned for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles and was subsequently admitted and graduated.
