Matthew Torres is a Chicago-born writer and actor whose work spans television, film, and independent projects. He wrote, produced, and starred in The Group Chat, which was an Official Selection at the Great Film Club Film Festival.
On screen, Matty has appeared in NBC’s Chicago P.D., the feature film Gags the Clown, The Summer Set’s “ADIDAS” music video, and numerous independent shorts.
Passionate about collaboration, he also founded a volunteer-based production group dedicated to creating original short films, fostering a community of storytellers driven to make bold, authentic work.
