Hi there! My name is Elle Shaheen and I’m an actor, writer, producer, singer, dancer….basically a quintuple threat. I graduated from Harvard where I studied Theatre, Dance & Media and was one of the first women cast in the Hasty Pudding Theatricals. I’m tooting my own horn, can you hear it? Since then, I’ve studied at the Barrow Group in New York City, UCB, Groundlings, and more. Some of my favorite most recent credits include Tony (A24, post-production), Cabaret, Kevin Can F Himself, and more.
As a type 1 diabetic, I’ve dedicated my life to combining my love for performing with advocacy. I founded Type E Productions LLC to continue my mission of creating art with social impact. Type E has received recognition from The Kennedy Center for the Arts (pre-45 oof), Joslin Diabetes Center, and more.
