Christina Tinde Jesenski is an award winning multidisciplinary theatre artist whose credits range from writing and directing original full length plays to acting in noteworthy classical and contemporary productions. Christina received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Evansville Theatre (Summa Cum Laude). During her senior year in 2024, Christina petitioned for and received maximum grant funding from the University of Evansville Honors Program to workshop her debut play, Glossolalia, with guest artist Portia Krieger. The result was a successful staged reading at the John David Lutz Theatre Lab. In 2023, the Department of Theatre named Christina the John W. Streetman III Young Artist of the Year for her commitment to collaboration, courage, and creativity in the classroom and production. As an actress, Christina prides herself on finding authenticity across a diverse resume of roles, including Agatha in Jen Silverman’s The Moors, Masha in Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters, Teiresias in Oedipus Rex and Antigone, and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. An Orange County School of the Arts Acting Conservatory Alumna, Christina was named Orange County Artist of the Year in 2020 by the OC Register. Christina currently teaches acting to 8th grade students at Orange County School of the Arts. A first generation American, she is a proud dual citizen of Norway and the United States. As you can tell from her middle and last name, she has Hungarian roots as well.
