SYNOPSIS:

Come join us in saying goodbye to one of L.A.’s most iconic theater spaces, studio/stage, with a signature 24-Hour Theatre Event from Theatre Unleashed!

studio/stage has been home to several of TU’s most beloved and critically acclaimed productions, starting back in 2008 with The Tempest, and through the years with shows like The Spidey Project, A Very DIE HARD Christmas, Still Waiting for Lefty, and many more, including several 24-Hour shows.

Curtain Call will feature talent from TU’s past and present with artists local audiences will recognize. The evening before the show, writers will be given a random prompt based on the theme “curtain call.” They are then given a single night to write a short play based on that prompt. Their play will immediately be handed over to a director and a few actors who have only that morning and afternoon to produce their piece. Theatre Unleashed will then showcase the end results that night followed by a special closing party to give studio/stage its chance to take a final bow.
