Surrounded by a cacophany of cicadas, a preacher’s daughter and her father’s protégé succumb to lust during a secret meeting outside an abandoned church. What begins as a moment of tender intimacy spirals into conflict when guilt takes hold of one— but not the other.
Described by the playwright as “An American Gothic pas de deux”, GLOSSOLALIA is a ruthless examination of love and lust, consent and free will, purity and corruption, and perhaps most complexly, the relationship between authentic and inauthentic. A fast, fierce, and firery two-person play you won’t soon forget.
As seductive as it is spiritual, GLOSSOLALIA joins the Stagecrafts Freeway Circuit after a critically acclaimed world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2026 and a sold-out proof of concept preview in Orange County in December 2025.
