What I liked
Garish, silly, and scary with a touch of nudity, this comedy is not only true to the original, it’s interesting and I learned a lot. I honestly never knew that Edie Sedgwick actually was seeking to be in normal films and was swooped up by Warhol and his gang of artistic vampires. Speaking of which, the cast is a blast, and look out for Jordan Mullins and her portrayal of Edie Sedgwick. Pardon the pun but she’s a dead-ringer. Perhaps if you stream Andy Warhol’s Frankenstein and then see this show, you’ll see it for how writer Steven Vlasak intended it to be seen: both as a homage to Warhol and a dissection of the pretentious, egocentric world that he imbued. My overall impression
For those out there “in the know,” Warhol/Frankenstein 4D is a scream. Meaning: for those who are aware of how campy and stilted Andy Warhol’s film making was, this show a lot of fun.
