Paul studied theatre arts with an acting emphasis at San Diego State University. He continues to learn and grow as an actor in every stage, film, or television production he is part of. Paul also studies those whom he considers masters of the performing arts in direction and acting by watching every interview he can find. Some of those he has learned the most from were Walter Matthau, Noel Coward, Peter O’Toole, and David Suchet to name a few.
Paul’s most favorite role has been Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, lucky enough to have played this role in two separate productions and he was also thrilled to make his London Off West End debut in an amazing production of Indecent by Paula Vogel.
Paul’s background also includes radio and commercial voice-over work. Known as Paul Diamond on the air in San Diego at K-Best 95FM. Back when Paul was on the air in San Diego it was the 9th largest radio market in the U.S. and Paul had the #1 rated show for women age 18-35.
