Ashley Karp is a multi award winning writer, director, producer, cinematographer, musician and actress, whose productions, both on and off screen and stage, have showcased both nationally and internationally and have been awarded numerous accreditations. Ashley loves every aspect of the creational process and strives to adorn her artistic inspirations through film and theatre.
Ashley participated in Hollywood Fringe Festival 2025 as a director for “Slay Me”, a one woman show written by and starring Veronica Rosas. “Slay Me” was nominated for the Fringe Award for Solo Theatre as well as the Loud Karma Emerging Women and Nonbinary Playwright’s Award, presented by Loud Karma Productions, LLC. Ashley was also one of the festival judge’s for Short+Sweet Hollywood’s first sponsored award for Hollywood Fringe Festival this year titled the “Spirit of the Fest” award.
Ashley is the current Festival Director of Short+Sweet Hollywood, a competition based international theatre festival, and she is ecstatic for the season ahead.
