Xander Priddie (They/He) is an interdisciplinary artist examining the Black experience, Theater of Cruelty, Absurdism and Magical Realism within their work. With a Theater degree from UCLA and a Dance degree from Cerritos College, their current explorations involve building choreography, surrealism and theater games to discuss mental health. They created and solo produced the Technicolour Festival: An interdisciplinary space for audience autonomy. Across various mediums, Xander investigates the inherent theatricality of psychology and strives to imbue metatextuality to deconstruct our relationships with ourselves. They have worked at 495 Productions, The Blacklist (2024 Academy Gold Rising Program), Latino Theater Company and FEDUP Collective. After completing their directorial debut,This Room Echoes, they have been building their writing portfolio.
